Can you imagine the ERA Coalition in New York City for a pre-NY Fashion Week event?!

No need to pinch yourself because it’s actually happening! We’ll be in New York, hosted by our friends at KZ_K Studio and Mika Brzezinski’s “Know Your Value”, for a panel discussion and reception on Wednesday, February 7.

If you live in the New York City area, or plan to be in the city that day, then you should put together your coolest fashion week ensemble and join us for what will be a fabulous and fun celebration to benefit the ERA Coalition’s education arm, Fund for Women’s Equality.

What’s happening

The event will kick off with a reception and cocktails at KZ_K Studio’s functional and beautiful Library Bar (think: books and booze!), before you head over to their showroom for an hour-long panel discussion featuring leaders in fashion and sex equality discussing the intersection of the Equal Rights Amendment and arts and culture.

Speakers:

  • the Honorable Carolyn Maloney, ERA Coalition board chair and former NY Congresswoman;
  • Zakiya Thomas, President of the ERA Coalition;
  • Karolina Zmarlak, creative director of KZ_K STUDIO, a woman owned fashion label designed and made in NYC
  • Maggie McGrath, Editor of Forbes Women “Know Your Value” team

And moderated by Andrea Bossi, journalist at Fashionista and a Forbes music contributor.
