Why We’re Still Fighting for the Equal Rights Amendment
October 09, 2024
This morning at 9:30A/ET Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will lay in state at the U.S. Capitol, the first woman so honored. Civil Rights leader Rosa Parks, in 2005, lay in honor as a civilian.
Here at the ERA Coalition we have dedicated the final push for the Equal Rights Amendment to the memory of her valiant work for justice.
Please join us on our Facebook page, and share your thoughts with us.
If you missed our live coverage of her arrival at the Supreme Court earlier this week, you can still view it here.
And for thoughts on RBG from 18 women leaders, you can see that here in a Forbes Women post that includes our Board Member Gloria Steinem, Fund for Women's Equality Chair Mona Sinha, and ERA Coalition Co-President and CEO Carol Jenkins.
Support our work to honor the legacy of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and see the ERA adopted to the U.S. Constitution. Donate here:
