Take the ERA Pledge

The Amendment States:

“Section 1: Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.
Section 2: The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
Section 3: This amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification.”

I pledge to support the Equal Rights Amendment and will do everything I can to ensure that the Constitution promotes equality and prohibits discrimination on account of sex. Over 200 years ago, women were intentionally left out of the Constitution. In this centennial celebration of suffrage, I will honor the women who sacrificed so much 100 years ago by using my vote to make the ERA the 28th Amendment to the Constitution.
